Twitter is one of the most commonly used and known social networks out there. This document will briefly go over ways of integrating tools from Twitter onto your own site.

Grab Twitter Code

The first step is to Twitter to pick out a widget/tool for your site, and to grab the code they provide to embed onto your site. You can select from a large variety of tools from their main resources page

Most of users make use of the Twitter feed widget, which displays the last few tweets from a given account. So for this example, we'll focus on this widget. Click on the Widgets section to see what they have available.

Be sure to click on "My Website" under "Widgets for..." to bring up the appropriate tools for your site. Click on "Profile Widget" to bring up the common widget with the latest tweets from your account

From here, you'll want to customize the widget as you see fit. You'll need to point out the username of your TWITTER account to bring up your tweets. You can also change the appearance and behavior of this widget by going through the options on the left. The preview on the right should change in-time with your adjustments, so play around until you get what you're looking for. When done hit the "Finish and Grab Code" button.

You should get a new field showing up, with the code needed to embed your twitter feed. Grab the code, and then make your way to your Site to embed!

Embedding the Twitter Widget

It's worth noting that these widgets are best used in the Widgets section of your site. Pasting a twitter feed in the body of an Email doesn't appear on every page, and will pull styling rules from the rest of your site, which can cause this feed to break.

You'll want to log into your Site Builder, Click on Widgets, and make use of a Code Widget

Give your widget a title, paste in the widget code, and Save! You'll need to go to your live site to see the resulting widget
