Set Your Own Background Image Using Overlay Templates
From HostBaby Wiki
By choosing Overlay or Overlay 2 under Style/Color/Theme in your Wizard account you take full control over the look of your site by using your own image as the background for your site. The overlay templates also allow you to put color filters over the photographs in order to beautify as well as make text easier to read.
Overlay 2 allows you to set an additional style graphic picture in front of the background image. Otherwise they are basically the same.
1. Spend a couple of minutes with a photo editor such as iPhoto, Picassa, Photoshop or a free online option like http://pixlr.com to get your background photo just right.
The image can be any size, but for best results we recommend 1440 by 1080px. To avoid slow load times the file should be around 100-200KB. Save your image as a JPEG or JPG.
The color overlays work best with black and white images. You can change a color image to black and white with one click in most photo editing programs.
Tip: If you find the text hard to read. Try one of the medium or strong template colors.
2. Once your photo is ready, you can upload it to your Image Bank in the Wizard.
3. Make sure to select one of the two Overlay Templates Under Style/Color Theme.
4. Under "Style Graphic" select your photo. Make sure you select the original photo and not the "re-sized" version.
5. That's it. Now you can experiment with the color overlays under Style/Color/Theme.
