Using Paypal is very easy. First, make sure you have an active account with them so you can access their merchant tools.

On http://www.paypal.com - log in (skip past any advertisements, Go To My Account) then click on Merchant Services

Note: If you are using the Wizard's flash player and Paypal buttons, read this: Why Won't My PayPal button work?

Once you click on Merchant Services, Click on "Buy Now Button":

Once you've clicked on that link, you'll be presented with Paypal's Button maker, which looks like this:

From here, you can set several aspects of the button, such as a drop down menu for several items for sale, flavor text, etc. You can see the resulting button to the right; that's a preview for the button. Refer to Paypal's documentation on how to adjust its appearance.

Once you have your button constructed, click on Create Button at the bottom to get the embed code you'll need for your site!

You can either click on the "Select Code" button to select it all, or click in the box itself. Once it's all highlighted, copy it! You can right click on the highlighted text and select Copy, or you can press CTRL + C in order to copy. Now that you have the code needed to make your button, it's time to put it back on your site!

This tutorial focuses on the Products page, but you can paste a button like this anywhere you can insert HTML code (look for the blue HTML button on your toolbars)

http://www.yourdomain.com/hostbaby2
(NOTE: change yourdomain.com to your actual website address!)

  1. log into the Hostbaby2 Wizard
  2. click Website
  3. click Products
  4. click Add New to create a new item
  5. (optional) fill in the Name of Product and/or Sub-name of product fields (many choose to leave these fields blank)
  6. click the Edit HTML Source button on the Toggle editor tool bar (it's the last one on the toolbar)
  7. paste the HTML code from paypal.com into the HTML Source Editor box
  8. click the Update button at the bottom of the window and you should now see the Paypal Buy Now button in your Toggle Editor Long Description box
  9. click add
