Outgoing Email Settings after a Server Move
From HostBaby Wiki
Due to the increasing demand, we're continuing to upgrade our servers to provide fast and reliable hosting for our customers! If you called in with an issue with your website or email, we may have solved the problem by moving you to a newer HostBaby server.
Because these newer servers operate in a slightly different manner, you may have found you are not able to send out emails using an email client such as Mac Mail, Outlook, or Thunderbird. However, have no fear! There is only one setting you need to change!
The following instructions only apply if you can't send mail. There is no need to change your settings if your mail works in both directions. If it aint' broke, don't fix it!
Note: If you need very secure email, these settings won't be enough! If you use your email in wireless situations such as internet cafes or coffee shops, you may consider using SSL. For more on setting up secure email, check out Advanced Settings - SSL & alternate ports
