We'll just need a little bit of information from you and we'll take care of the rest. We do this all day, every day. And we'll make sure that your site is up and running smoothly before you point your domain over here -- that way there's ZERO DOWNTIME between your old host and us.

What We Need

From your existing host we'll need:

FTP Address
FTP Username
FTP Password

This information is likely not the same as your email username and password. If you're not immediately familiar with the terms above then likely you'll want to contact support at your existing host and ask them to send you that information. Once you have it, email it to us and we'll take care of moving the site over for you!

Regarding Your Domain Name

Moving your site's files is an entirely separate thing from making sure your domain name points to our servers instead of your existing host's servers.

In layman's terms, your site's files are akin to the furniture you move into a new house. The domain name is that house's address. Just like the house address isn't impacted by what you move in or out of the house itself, moving your site's files to our server doesn't mean that your domain will automatically point to our servers. This is a separate process. :) We can help you with that, too. But some folks assume the two are the same so we wanted to mention this to avoid confusion. :)
