How to take a screenshot

Describing website issues can be difficult with Email messages alone. An image reference can help you in describing issues, and it would help us understand them as well! There are a couple methods to doing this; here is are a couple ways to do so with a PC or a Mac.
How to take a screen shot with a PC
- Get your screen prepped for your screenshot, so have any applicable information showing on your screen
- Press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard; May not look like anything happened. Think of this as the "copy" part of a copy and paste -- Alternatively, you can click on ALT + Print Screen to copy ONLY the top-most window you have open/selected
- Open up an image editing program; all PC's should be equipped with "Paint"
- Go to Edit > Paste, or right click on an empty canvas, and select paste, or click CTRL + V to paste.
- Save your new image screenshot!
How to take a screen shot with a MAC
- Command-Shift-3: Takes a screenshot of the screen, and saves it as a file on the desktop

- Command-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it as a file on the desktop
-- or --
- Command-Shift-4, then space, then click a window: Take a screenshot of a window and save it as a file on the desktop
