There are two kinds of forwards
1. Email Account Forward: You can forward an existing email account to another address
2. Forward/Alias: You can skip the email set-up and create an email forward by clicking Create Email Forward / Alias in your email admin menu.
For HostBaby Wizard Users
In this tutorial we describe how to turn an existing email address into a Forward in your Wizard account.
- Log into your HostBaby2 Wizard Account
- click Settings: Email Settings
- Then click Manage Email Accounts and select modify user next to the email you want to set up a forward for.
- Then just enter the email address you want the email to be forwarded to under forward emails to
- I would recommend NOT checking save a copy and forward as it will eventually fill up your inbox and bounce emails if you don't empty it regularly.
For HostBaby "Full" Accounts
In this tutorial we describe how to turn an existing email address into a Forward in your Wizard account.
- From your control panel, select Email Admin
- Then click 'Manage Email Accounts' and select modify user next to the email you want to set up a forward for.
- Then just enter the email address you want the email to be forwarded to under forward emails to
- I would recommend NOT checking save a copy and forward as it will eventually fill up your inbox and bounce emails if you don't empty it regularly.
Creating A Mail Forward/Alias
- If you don't want to bother creating an actual email address, you can simply select "Create a New Email Forward / Alias" from the Email Admin Menu.
- Name it and choose where to forward it to.
- There is little difference, between changing an email into a forward and creating a forward from scratch. The only difference is that you cannot store a copy of your mail on the server with an Alias / Forward.
