How to Link to an External Webpage (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, etc)

In order to link to an external webpage or website, you need to copy the URL (address of your page).

In the case of social networks like Facebook, Twitter and MySpace--make sure that you link to a public page and not a secure page within your account (because it wont work).

Log out of your social network before grabbing the URL to make sure you copy the correct one.

Once you are on the page that you want to link to, highlight the address in your address bar, right-click and copy the URL (Cntrl-click if you don't have a right-click button on your mouse).

The URL is the address you see between the two "bell peppers." Sadly, your web browser may not be equipped with bell peppers.
