How to Add Google Adsence Ads to Your Website

Setting Up Adwords on a HostBaby site is pretty easy. Be sure to use Google's extensive tutorials when you get stuck.

Note: It requires a great deal of regular traffic to generate income through adwords. I've noticed about 2-10 cents a day on my own site which receives 30-70 visitors (visits not hits) a day. -CB

Sign Up to AdSense

Note: You may need to create a Google/Gmail account if you don't have one.

Create an account at: https://www.google.com/adsense

Creating Your Ad

  1. Click Adsense Setup Tab
  2. Select Adsense for Content
  3. 'Ad unit' or 'Link unit'
  4. Format: Choose the Size of your ad
  5. Colors (select a default palette or create a unique palette for your own website)
  6. Your AdSense Code (this is the code you will 'copy' and 'paste' onto your site)

Insert Code on Your Site

Once you have copied your ad code, you can paste in onto any page on your site.
