Facebook Badge
From HostBaby Wiki
Since Facebook is one of the largest social networks these days, it makes sense that users want to insert some sort of connectivity between their sites here at HostBaby with their Facebook pages. Fortunately, Facebook provides you with a variety of, what they call, "badges" to insert onto your site. If you visit their badge-maker page, you can see the options they have available, like in the screenshot above. In this document, we'll discuss how to put the more common "Profile Badge" onto your site.
Grab the Badge Code
First thing's first; visit the badge selection page that Facebook offers. Once there, click on "Profile Badge" to get started.
Once here, you should see a small preview of the badge, and a few options. You'll likely want to adjust the appearance of the badge, so click on "Edit this Badge" to do so.
Here, you can adjust the appearance, as well as the information showing on your Facebook Badge. Pick the settings you want to use, and hit the "Save" button at the bottom. This will take you back to the badge preview page.
From here, hit the "Other" button, to paste the badge onto your site. Grab the code in the field they provide. Now, all you have to do is paste this onto your site!
Paste the code on your Site
With badges like this, it's best to make use of your widgets. Log into the Site Builder, and click on Widgets; you'll want to use the Code Snippet Widget for this badge.
Simply paste your code into the code snippet widget, give it a title, and save. You'll need to go to your site to see the resulting badge!
