Enable Cookies in IE

To determine the version of Internet Explorer, click About Internet Explorer on the Help menu. You can also press Alt + H and then press A.

Internet Explorer 7.0 & 8

   1. Click 'Tools'
   2. Click 'Options' 
   3. Click 'Privacy' 
   4. Click 'Advanced' 
   5. Select: Override automatic cookie handling
   6. Allow First and Third-party cookies.

Internet Explorer 6.x

To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 6, perform the following steps:

1. From the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Image of step one

2. From the Internet Properties dialog box, on the Privacy tab, click Advanced. Image of step two

3. From the Advanced Privacy Settings dialog box, click to select Override automatic cookie handling. Image of step three and four

4. Under First-party Cookies and Third-party Cookies, click to select Accept.

5. Click to select Always allow session cookies.

Internet Explorer 5.0/5.5

  1. Click on the Tools-menu in Internet Explorer
  2. Click on the Internet Options item in the menu - a new window opens
  3. Click on the Security tab near the top of the window. (See first image below)
  4. Click on the Custom Level... button near the bottom of the window 
  5. Scroll down to Cookies in the new dialog, and set both "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" an d "Allow per-session cookies to Enable. (Second image below).
  6. Save changes by clicking Ok in each dialog and go to one of the configuration pages again
