Add your email to your Gmail Account

Adding your domain e-mail address to your Gmail account is super easy!

First, login to your Gmail account.

Then, click "settings" in the top right corner.

Once there, choose "accounts". Then, click "add another e-mail address.

Next, you'll want to enter your name and e-mail address that you want to add and click "Next Step".

On the next screen, click "send verification. Gmail will then send a test e-mail to your e-mail account that you are adding. You'll need to go into your webmail (or wherever you have your mail set up) to get it. Follow the instructions to verify the e-mail address.

Once it's added, just log back into your Gmail account and click "Compose Message". You'll see that your "from" e-mail now is a drop down menu. Click it and select your newly added address. That's it! Just remember to make sure you're sending from the right address each time to avoid any snafus!

Now, to RECEIVE mail from your domain with Gmail, you have to do a few extra steps. First, go back to your settings and click on "accounts".

Under "send mail as" you'll see "get mail from other accounts". Click "add another account".

Then, enter your e-mail address and click "Next Step".

Now, enter the details for your domain. If you want to leave a copy of your messages on your hostbaby webmail, click the "leave a copy on the server" box. Make sure you DO NOT check the SSL option. Complete your settings and click "add account". Voila! Hostbaby mail in your Gmail inbox. Additional settings can be found in your account settings section in Gmail.
